Area of installation
• Sealed floor or collecting basin 18
gallons!
It is crucial to ensure that untreated
condensate or oil cannot get into the
sewer system in the event of damage.
• The floor area must be stable and level
(max. inclination 1°) to ensure reliable
functioning of the KCF.
With the multiple inlet adapter, up to 4
condensate lines can be connected di-
rectly to the KCF unit.
It has three ½" hose connectors for inflow
from the ECO-DRAIN and one 1" hose
connector for the hose to the KCF.
The ½" plug on the KCF must not be
removed.
1" (DN25)
If there are more than 4 feed points, it
will be necessary to install a header of
1" diameter above KCF inlet (height 24"
1" (DN25)
above floor) with a slight slope down to
the KCF unit (min. 1°)
Up to 4 KCF units can be joined to a flow
splitter.
• Feed in the condensate from the top
(see diagram)
Connecting the feed line:
• The connecting adaptor can be turned
1" (DN25)
in relation to the inflow direction:
- Remove the screws (notice o-ring and
washers of connecting adaptor).
- Place connecting adaptor into position.
- Replace the screws and tighten.
• Connect the inlet hose to any adaptor
inlet point by means of a hose clamp
(use the hose connectors supplied with
the unit).
• Check that the unused inlet points are
tightly plugged!
Note:
Shut off condensate drain outlet until the
oil-water separator has been installed and
is ready to be put into service!
Hoses must always be fixed in such a
manner that they do not make flapping
movements and lead to injuries and/or
damage.
