1st:
T- BAR CEILING MOUNTING
90° Bend
STEP 1:
Bring the FLX troffer up into the T-Bar
grid.
STEP 2:
Locate the luminaire hooks and bend them
out 90 degrees for installation. See Figure
1.
NOTE: The luminaire hooks ship bent in
and need to be bent out for installation.
2nd: Bend
STEP 3:
Against T-bar
Then bend the luminaire hooks against the
T-Bar to secure the luminaire. See Figure
1.
SUSPENDED MOUNTING
STEP 1:
T-bar
Attach customer supplied cables to the (2)
cable slots on each side of the housing.
See Figure 2 .
STEP 2:
Attach customer supplied cables to
mounting surface using customer supplied
hardware. Ensuring that mounting surface
can support the luminaire.
SETUP
OPTION: Power whip (if installed) skip
Steps 1-3 and refer directly to the
Electrical Connections section and wire
flying leads.
NOTE: Power whip is not supported for
-GTD options.
STEP 1:
Disconnect power to circuit by turning
circuit breaker OFF before installation.
STEP 2:
Remove the cover of the power supply
junction box and bring conduit into the
power supply compartment using one of
the provided knock-outs. See Figure 3.
STEP 3:
Wire luminaire per "Electrical
Connections" section and push all leads
into the junction box. Reattach junction box
cover that was removed in Step 2. Make
sure no wires are pinched
STEP 4:
Switch the circuit breaker on.
STEP 5:
Luminaires ordered with SC1 are provided
with factory installed integrated Cree
Lighting SmartCast
control with occupancy and Daylight
sensor. Make sure the blue LED has
a two-blink sequence. If not, please
proceed to Troubleshooting section.
Otherwise proceed to commissioning as
per SmartCast
guide. Please refer to the SmartCast
documentation for details. See Figure 4.
