3 Operating Instructions
1.
Inspect the bolt for visible damage before each
use. Do not use the bolt when defects have been
detected and discard it immediately.
2.
Prepare the gearbox support T40344 or T40344A
as described in the operating instructions.
3.
Remove the bolt (3) from the gearbox support and
store it in a safe place (see Figure 1).
4.
Attach the bolt T40344/8 to the gearbox support
and tighten it with a torque of 20+5 Nm.
NOTICE
Damaging the gearbox in the attachment point!
If the bolt is not tightened correctly on the gearbox
support, the gearbox may be damaged.
Always tighten the bolt with the specified
torque.
Only screw the bolt with a calibrated torque
wrench.
Do not glue the bolt with loctite.
5.
Insert the bolt T40344/8 and (5) in the attachment
holes in the gearbox as described in the workshop
manuals.
6.
Insert both set screws in the holes on the opposite
side and screw them in with the star knobs (4) until
the stop.
7.
Ensure that the support surfaces of the set screws
(4) and the bolt T40344/8 and (5) fit against the
housing edge of the support hole in the gearbox.
WARNING
Risk of a falling load!
Attaching the gearbox support to the load
incorrectly could cause the load to tilt, swivel, or
fall. This could result in serious injuries and severe
damage to materials.
Fasten the gearbox support to the load exactly
as described in the workshop manuals in order
to prevent the load from falling.
Before lifting the load, ensure that the set
