1/ Cutting the saddle tube
at the desired height
1 - Insert the E-Post inside the frame and
adjust the saddle's horizontal position.
Consider the "fore aft position" of your
previous bike (saddle setback)
2 - Tighten the saddle clamp to the specified
torque of 22 Nm.

3 - Measure the height «B» of your new bike.

4 - Calculate the length to cut «L» according
to: L = B - A (new saddle height – previous
saddle height)
5 - Remove the E-Post.
6 - Installing the template:
Place the template at height "L", measured

from the cutting slot and the summit of the
seat tube. (Photo 2)
7 – Tighten the template in position with the
transversal screw. (Photo 3)
8 – Cut the tube at the length by inserting a
saw (24 or 32 teeth per inch) into the sawing
slot. (Saw in vertical position). (Photo 4)
9 – Remove the template and trim the end of
the tube. Check that the end of the tube is
clean and free of debris.
