USER'S MANUAL:
Maintenance and servicing of AGM batteries should be carried out only by
qualified personnel with the necessary precautions. Unauthorized persons should
not operate them.
1. Please read the following instructions for proper and safe handling of the device.
2. If the battery is handed over to someone else, please also include this manual
with it.
ATTENTION
Do not disassemble or modify the battery valves or add water. This procedure is
dangerous and voids the waranty of the product.
PRECAUTIONS
The battery may emit flammable gas. To prevent an explosion, keep it away
•
from the fire.
Do not allow a short circuit at the terminals. This can lead to ignition.

Do not disassemble or modify the battery pack.
•
Do not attempt to reverse the battery poles/terminals. It can lead to its
•
irreparable damage.
Liquid that can leak from the battery is an electrolyte, containing dangerous
•
acid causing damages to skin and eyes. If it gets on your skin, wash it thoroughly.
If it gets in your eyes, rinse them with water or a neutralizing liquid for 10 minutes
and seek medical assistance immediately.
TRANSPORTATION
1. Secure the battery against impact before transportation.
2. It is recommended to transport the battery positioned vertically.
3. Secure the battery terminals before transport.
DAILY INSPECTION AND SERVICE
1.If the following abnormalities have been observed, identify the problem and
replace the damaged batteries:
a. Voltage anomalies
b. Physical damage (eg housing or poles/ terminals)
c. Leakage of electrolyte
2. Dispose of any dirt on the device with a damp cloth. Do not use organic
detergents (e.g., gasoline). It may damage the body/ case of the device.
3. When installing the battery as an emergency power supply for fireman's
equipment, check that it meets the safety standards specific to the equipment it is
intended to support.
ASSEMBLY AND CONNECTION
1. Secure the battery against shocks, impacts or vibrations.
2. When inserting the battery into the device, place it away from any heat sources,
also place it in an upright position as low as possible and with the best possible
ventilation.
3. The battery may emit flammable gas. Avoid installation in a confined
environment or near sources of sparks.
4. Do not bend or solder the poles.
5. Avoid using batteries in the following circumstances:
a. Under direct sunlight
b. In places with increased heat, radio or ultraviolet radiation
c. In places with high levels of organic solvents, vapour, dust or corrosive gases.
d. In places with increased shocks or vibrations
6. When charging, make sure to connect the positive + pole to the positive
equivalent of the charger, and the negative pole to the negative equivalent of the
charger.
