7. Do not use batteries with different capacities, different parameters, or old and
new batteries together.
BATTERY LIFE
Usually the battery life lasts from 3 to 5 years for the buffer operation mode and at
least 260 cycles for cyclical operation (260 full discharge cycles). This can
decrease if the battery does not work in the proper conditions. The biggest impact
that affect the battery life are the parameters of charging, discharging, working and
storage conditions and the temperature the batery is exposed to. To maintain the
appropriate parameters for work please replace the battery before the end of its
validity. For example: AGM batteries should be replaced depending on the average
working temperature. Below you will find
recommendations to exchange the battery:
In the average working temperature 25 Celcius degrees. (room temperature)
exchange after 3 years; 30 Celcius degrees exchange after 2.5 years;
40 Celcius degrees exchange after 16 months.
DISCHARGE
1. The discharge and charging parameters should not exceed (for more than
5 seconds) the values presented in the specification list.
2. The final voltage and discharging intensity should be the same as in table 1. Do
not discharge the battery below the values shown in the table. It can shorten the life
of the device.
3. After discharging, recharge the battery immediately. Do not leave the device
discharged. The maximum capacity may decrease if the device is left drained for a
long time.

CHARGING
For buffer mode:
1. Charge the battery with a constant voltage of 2.275V / cell (25 C). When charging
with an ambient temperature of less than 5 C or more than 35 C and an average
temperature of more than 25°C, it is necessary to adjust the charging voltage to
temperature. The temperature coefficient should be -3.3mV / C.
2. The pre-charge parameters should be 0.3CA (where C is the nominal capacity,
and A is the intensity) or less.
3. Recommended ambient temperature when charging the battery is from 5 C to
35°C. This will ensure the longest possible battery life.
For cyclical mode:
1. Maintain a constant or variable voltage at the level of o2.45V / cell (25 C). When
charging at an ambient temperature of less than 5 C, or more than 35 C, the
charging parameters must be adapted to the ambient temperature. The factor
should be 5mV / C.
