Installing the Batteries

Open the battery cover.

Insert two new AAA alkaline or
Ni-MH batteries in the orientation
shown in the label inside the bat-
tery compartment.
Q The unit may malfunction if the batter-
ies are not in the correct orientation.

Close the battery cover.
Turning the Unit On
Press the ON/OFF button. The TEST but-
ton (READY lamp) will blink as the fl ash
charges. Charging is complete when
the lamp stops blinking.
R The indicator lamp lights when the unit is on.
R To turn the unit off , press the ON/OFF button again. The indi-
cator lamp will turn off .
Q Turn the fl ash off before mounting it on the hot shoe. If the
fl ash is on, it may short the hot-shoe contacts, causing the
fl ash to fi re unexpectedly or other product malfunction.
