Loosen the knob 1 and fold the upper
handle onto the lower one, as shown in
the picture.

JOB CONFIGURATION:
Raise the tool raising lever 1 in (A) posi-
tion.
Adjust the job tool height turning the
knob 2.
Each turn changes the working
height for 1,5 mm. Considering the indica-
tions shown on the label 3, please check
the index shifting 4 to realize to which di-
rection you have to turn the knob.

TRANSFER CONFIGURATION:
Lower the tool raising lever 1 to position B.
This way the tool is not touching the ground.
7.4 TANK FILLING
DANGER!
Use caution when handling flammable
fluids. Fuel is highly flammable and ex-
plosive.
DANGER!
Do not fill the tank in closed or poorly
ventilated environments.
DANGER!
Before refilling the tank, switch off the
machine and wait until the motor has
cooled down (15-20 min).
DANGER!
Do

or
use
ic devices near combustible fluids.

Use suitable, undamaged filling devices
such as fuel cans, funnels, etc.
DANGER!
In case of fuel leakage, move the ma-
chine before starting it up.

When filling operations have been com-
pleted, replace the cap and tighten it
firmly.
7.5 GRASS BOX USE (OPTIONAL)
The grass box is used to collect various
types of residues such as leaves, vegetal
residues, animal hair, etc.

7.6 START-UP AND SHUT-DOWN
CAUTION!
Check the motor oil level before starting
the machine.

Do not start the engine until all assembly
stages have been completed.
INFORMATION!
If the engine is "cold", operate the start-
er on the carburettor (depending on the
motor version). See the specific manual.
CAUTION!
Before every start-up check the lever for
the tool insertion 2 to be on A position.

To start:
Move the accelerator lever to the START
position.
Go on with the switching on
according to what is described in the in-
structions booklet you can find with the
engine.
After the engine switching on, move the
accelerator lever so that you can reach
the RPM you need. Move the safety de-
vice 1 towards the direction shown by the
arrow, then pull the tool insertion lever 2
on B position grasping the handlebar 3 at
the same time.
Go on pushing the unit on
the ground following the direction shown
by the arrow.

To switch off:
Release the tool insertion lever 2 and
position the accelerator control on STOP

8. HANDLING AND TRANSPORT

With the motor off, the machine can be
moved by hand by pushing or pulling it
from the handlebar.
9. STORAGE
Clean the machine of leaves and/or dirt
before storage.
Remove the fuel from the tank and close
the tap (if present).
Park the machine on flat ground, removing
) and wait for the tool

Protect the sharp parts and cover the
machine with protective sheets if neces-
sary.
Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tightened
to ensure safe operation of the machine
and/or interchangeable equipment in safe
conditions.
