Change the Sear Burner Orifice
1.
Use a screwdriver to remove screw from the igniter pin.
2.
Remove two screws on the rear of the searing burner. Lift
the burner starting from the back, as shown.
3.
Use a 6 mm socket wrench or 6 mm nut driver to remove
the orifice.
4.
Replace with the Natural gas orifice.
IMPORTANT: Check that the NG orifice is properly
installed inside of the valve.
5.
Reinstall the sear burner. Make sure the sear burner tube
is inserted into the gas valve, as shown.

6.
Reinstall the two screws to the rear of the searing burner.
7.
Use a screwdriver to reinstall the igniter pin.
4.Open the manual shutoff valve in the gas supply. The valve
is open when the handle is parallel to the gas pipe.
5.Test all connections using an approved noncorrosive leak-
detection solution. Bubbles will show a leak. Correct any leak
found
Record Conversion
The LP appliance nameplate is located inside the grill cabinet
on the left-hand side. Once converted, place the NG appliance
nameplate as close as possible to the current LP appliance
nameplate without covering it.
In the last page of the Use and Care Guide, write "Converted
to Natural Gas". Also record the conversion date and the
technician/company that performed the conversion.
