Mounting and removing the saw blade (fig. B)
Mounting
● Open the collar (10) by turning it
counterclockwise.
● Insert the saw blade (11) in the saw blade
holder (4) as far as possible. The teeth of the
saw blade (11) must point downward and
forward.
● Close the collar (10) by turning it clockwise.
Removing
● Open the collar (10) by turning it
counterclockwise.
● Remove the saw blade (11) from the saw
blade holder (4).
● Close the collar (10) by turning it clockwise.
USE
Switching on and off (fig. A)
● To switch on the machine, keep the lock-off
button (2) pressed and simultaneously press
the on/off switch (1).
● To switch off the machine, release the on/off
switch (1).
Setting the auxiliary grip (fig. C)
The release button for the auxiliary grip can be
set to 4 positions.

Do not set the auxiliary grip during use.
● Slide the release button (3) in the direction of
the main grip (7).
● Turn the auxiliary grip (8) to the required
position.
● Release the release button (3).
Adjusting the saw shoe (fig. D)
The saw shoe can be adjusted in order to rest
properly on the workpiece.

Do not adjust the saw shoe during use.
● Release the adjustment handle (6) by lowering
it to the open position.
● Move the saw shoe (5) to the required
position.
● Lock the adjustment handle (6) by raising it to
the closed position.

Plunge cutting
● Only use 'plunge cutting' on soft materials.
● Only use 'plunge cutting' with short saw blades.
● Switch on the machine.
● Wait until the machine has reached full speed.
● Place the saw shoe on the workpiece.
Make sure that the bottom edge of the saw
shoe rests on the workpiece.
● Slowly move the saw blade into the workpiece
at an angle. Move the machine to the vertical
position and continue to move the saw blade
along the pre-drawn line.
● Switch off the machine when the work has
been completed.
● Remove the machine from the workpiece.
flush cutting
● Only use 'flush cutting' with elastic, bi-metal
saw blades to use the machine on protruding
objects close to the wall.
● Switch on the machine.
● Wait until the machine has reached full speed.
● Place the saw blade directly on the wall.
Slightly bend the saw blade to make sure that
the saw shoe rests against the wall.
● Slowly move the saw blade through the
workpiece. Apply constant lateral pressure
against the wall.
● Switch off the machine when the work has
been completed.
● Remove the machine from the workpiece.
Hints for optimum use
● Clamp the workpiece. Use a clamping device
for small workpieces.
● Draw a line to define the direction in which to
guide the saw blade.
● Hold the machine with both hands.
● Set the auxiliary grip.
● Adjust the saw shoe.
● Switch on the machine.
● Wait until the machine has reached full speed.
● Place the saw shoe on the workpiece.
● Slowly move the machine along the pre-drawn
line, firmly pressing the saw shoe against the
workpiece.
● Do not apply too much pressure on the
machine. Let the machine do the work.
● Switch off the machine and wait for the
machine to come to a complete standstill
before putting the machine down.
