necessarily represent safe workplace values. Although
there is a correlation between emission and
immission levels, it cannot be reliably deduced
whether or not additional precautionary measures
are necessary. Factors influencing the current
immission level at the workplace include the nature
of the work area, other noise sources, etc., e.g. the
number of machines and other adjacent operations.
Permissible workplace values may also vary from
country to country. However, this information should
enable the user to make a better assessment of the
hazard and risk.

Residual risks
Risks!

operating the machine, even if all applicable design
regulations are followed.
Risk of injury to fingers and hands. Never put your
hands in the saw blade area.
Parts of workpieces and tools leave damaged tools:
Wear safety glasses
Noise emissions: Hearing protectors must be worn
Wood emissions: Wear respirator
Despite all the preventive measures taken, there may
still be hidden residual risks.
Residual risks can be minimized by following the safe-
ty instructions and using them in accordance with the
stipulated provisions and operating instructions.
Dust exposure is affected by the type of material
being processed. It is important to use local exhaust
(trapping near the source) and to properly adjust the
exhaust covers, guides and grabs.
Dust from work is often harmful and must not get
