SAFETY NOTES:

BEFORE INSTALLING THE DEVICE, YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ
CAREFULLY THE BELOW INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS IN ORDER
TO AVOID ELECTRIC SHOCKS OR INJURIES.
ZKC keyboards are inspected and approved to co-operate with ZTC3iW control units.
•
After unpacking, check that elements of the control unit have no mechanical damage
•
Plastic bags used as packaging (a potential danger) should be kept out of children's
reach
•
Before connecting the control unit to the power supply make sure that the power supply
voltage is equal to the voltage recommended on the identification plate of the device
•
The control unit should be used according to its design. Fakro shall not be liable for any
consequences of improper use of the device.
•
The installation should be completed by qualified personnel in compliance with the
manufacturer's instructions. Non-observance of the safety regulations can be
hazardous.
•
Any maintenance or cleaning works of the device should be done only after
disconnection from the power supply. It is recommended that installation of the
overcurrent protection is made to secure the possibility of disconnection of the control
unit from power supply.
•
Do not use any solvents or open water stream for keyboard cleaning purposes (do not
dip it in water).
•
Serious repairs should be completed only by the manufacturer's authorised personnel.
•
It is recommended to claim only original spare parts.
•
In case of any questions do not hesitate to contact Fakro representatives.
•
Non-observance of the above mentioned instructions or using control unit to control
other (non-authorised) electrical devices can be hazardous and can also result in loss
of warranty.
•
The device is meant to be the control unit of Fakro window accessories ( 24 V). All the
electrical connections should be done according to regulations.
ZKC KEYBOARD (DESCRIPTION)
The ZKC keyboard is used to operate motors fixed in windows or one of the FAKRO
accessories connected to the ZTC3iW control unit. This keyboard is designed to be installed
on a wall in a standard cable box.

GUARANTEE
The manufacturer provides that the product is reliable which means that they undertake to
repair or replace the device if proved to be defective in materials or construction. The warranty
is valid for 24 months beginning from the date of product purchase under the condition that:
•
The installation is completed by qualified personnel in compliance with the manufacturer's
instructions.
•
The seals are intact and no arbitrary changes are introduced.
•
The device is used according to its design and maintenance instructions.
•
The damage does not result from improperly prepared electric installation or weather
phenomena.
•
The manufacturer shall not be liable for misuse and/or mechanical damage of the product.
In case of a defective product, it has to be delivered together with the Certificate of
guarantee to the Manufacturer.
The defects of the products found during the warranty period are repaired free of
charge within 14 working days beginning from the date the product is received to
repairs under guarantee.
The guarantee and after sales repairs are done by Fakro PP. Sp. z o.o.
