The auxiliary handle (C) is fully adjustable around 360°.
By turning the knob you release the clamping device of the handle.
After adjusting the wanted position clamp handle with great care.
• Apply pressure to electronic switch (E)
• As soon as you release the switch the machine stops.
The hammer rate (striking impact) varies from low to maximum,
depending on the pressure applied onto the switch (E). This way the
appropriate speed for the job in demand can be selected to assure
exact pointed chiselling without break outs.
The hammer speed control (D) can be used to limit the maximum
hammer speed by steps from 1-6.
As soon as the dust protection cap is worn down (drilling hole is not
sealing the chisel anymore) a change is necessary. Remove dust
protection cap with the support of a screw driver.
The machine has self-disconnecting carbon brushes. When the
brushes are worn the motor will switch off automatically, then a
routine-service is necessary.
Any maintenance or repair work must be carried out in the SPIT
after-sales service or in an after-sales service station formally ap-
proved by SPIT.
For queries, please phone one of the numbers listed on the last
page of this booklet.
