CAR REPORT
The car report reports the cell display via the connection
cable.
Connect the car receiver to the main receiver using cable
14 to sockets 8 & 9. Attach the receiver to the machine
cab. Now the receiver can be easily monitored using the
LEDS in the cab report, even if the main receiver is no lon-
ger visible from the cab.
The cab receiver has no independent power supply, it is
powered by the main receiver.

RECHARGEABLE BATTERY AND CHARGER
The main receiver has a built-in 7.2 V NiMh rechargeable
battery. If the red LEDS flash from the centre outwards, the
battery needs charging. If it is not charged, the receiver
will automatically switch off.
CHARGING THE BATTERIES
Remove cover n. 7 and connect the charger to socket n.
2 and the 220v mains. Recommended charging time: 15
hours. When charging starts, the charging diode is in red.
Charging stops automatically when the cell is fully char-
ged, the charger then displays a green LED. If the charger
flashes: there is an anomaly on the charge, disconnect
the mains. If the charger charges longer than expected,
disconnect the charger. Contact the Service Department.

Warning: Before connecting the unit to the engine battery,
please start the engine and wait for a while until the engine
is running normally.
If the cell is connected before the engine is started, you
may damage the internal battery or the entire electronics
of the cell (overvoltage is not covered by the initial war-
