Safety information
General safety information
¾ Before initial use, perform a visual
inspection of the device to check
for damage.Prior to use any damage
must be repaired by a qualified expert
or workshop.
¾ Do not use any damaged, defective
or deformed power packs.

Intended use

The device is intended for charging power
packs of type ABP 36-03 and ABP 36-05;
these are authorised by the manufac-
turer. Any other use is classed as an
unintended use. The user is liable for any
damages arising from unintended use.

Operation

Injuries or material damage.
¾ Note the mains voltage.
¾ The voltage of the current
source must match
the information on the
identification plate of the
device.
Note
The power pack becomes hot
during operation.

Safety information
CAUTION !
¾ Do not charge any third party
power packs.
¾ Never try to charge non-
rechargeable power packs.
¾ Do not cover the ventilation slits of
the charger. Otherwise the charger
may overheat and no longer function
correctly.
¾ Repairs must only be performed by
a qualified expert or workshop
Note
After approximately 45 minu-
tes the 3 Ah power pack is 80
% charged and after about 70
minutes it is fully charged. After
approximately 80 minutes the
5 Ah power pack is 80 % charged
and after about 110 minutes it is
fully charged.

Note
To protect the power pack and
ensure a long service life, the
charger switches off as soon as
the power pack is fully charged.
Meaning
Mains voltage con-
nected.

Power pack possibly
defective. Arrange for
testing of the power
pack by a specialist
workshop.
Power pack too hot.
Charging starts automa-
tically if the operating
temperature is correct.
Power pack is not char-
ging. Power pack is not
correctly inserted or the
contacts are dirty.
