The cartridge power data stated here are based on
experience and may vary depending on the quality
of the surface.
Surface and distances (fig. II)
Perform a test shot to determine the cartridge power
to be selected for this surface.
Start with the weakest cartridge (green) and
■
set the variable power adjustment [7] to the
minimum (-). In case of surfaces with extreme
tensile strength/density, contact your Würth
customer service.

Firing a pin
Hold the device with both hands and stand in a
■
stable position.
Press the device at a right angle to the suitable
■
surface.
Minimum strength of the surface
Test the strength of the surface.
The minimum penetration depth of the driving pin
and the minimum strength of the surface must be
maintained. This ensures secure hold of the fastening
connection.

Minimum distances of the axles and
distances to the surface edge
The distance to free edges must be sufficient to
prevent the pin from lateral penetration. Do not drive
in the pins too close in order to prevent them from
comming loose from their fixing position in case the
material breakes out or tears away.

Warning
Only use original driving pins which
are admissible for this device.
Since fastening material undergoes continuous
development, it is possible that not all admissible
driving pins are listed. For this purpose contact your
Würth customer service or use the latest catalogue.
