Before Installation
• To avoid the risks that are always present when you use an electrical appliance it is important that this appliance
is installed correctly and that you read the safety instructions carefully to avoid misuse and hazards. Please
keep this instruction booklet for future reference and pass it on to any future owners. After unpacking the
appliance please check that it is not damaged.
• Check the package and make sure you have all of the parts listed.
• Decide on the appropriate location for your product.
• If this product contains glass please take care when fitting or handling to prevent personal injury or damage to
the product.
• If you sell the appliance, give it away, or leave it behind when you move house, make sure you also pass on this
manual so that the new owner can become familiar with the appliance and its safety warnings.
• This appliance must be installed correctly by a qualified person, strictly following the manufacturer' s inst-
ructions.
• Warning! Danger of electric shock! The power supply to the appliance must be cut off before the appliance
is installed completely.
Installation Instructions
1. Choose a type of installation: Ducted option (extracting to outside) or Recirculation option.
2. Mark 6 hole positions on the wall. Maximum gap between the 2 top holes and 2 middle holes should be no
more than 735 mm, depending on the ceiling height.
3. Drill the holes, and then insert the wall plugs in all the holes. The wall plugs supplied are suitable for solid
walls only. When fixing to any other type of wall, use suitable alternative fixings. Then insert two long
screws into the two middle holes as shown in the diagram.
4. Use 2 long screws to fix the bracket to the wall.
5. Assemble the main unit and glass unit together using the 4 screws and washers. Use the hex wrench to
tighten the screws. Remove the aluminium filters from the hood.
6. Position the hood over the 2 middle screws and ensure that the hood slides down to locate fully onto the
screws, then fix the bottom screws from inside the hood.
7. For recirculation option: Fit the 2 carbon filters.
8. Fix the aluminium filters back to the hood.
9. Fix the collar if required for the ducted option. Use 2 short screws to secure it. For ducted option only: Fix
the VENT PACK using self adhesive aluminium tape. Extend the chimney to the proper length and attach
it to the hood.
10. Fix the chimney to the bracket using 2 short screws. Connect the top of the Operation ducting tube to the
vent kit as per manufacturer's instructions.
