STEP 1
Open the appliance by unscrewing the 2 countersunk M4 screws (A) that attach the cover (B) to the base (M) using the special tool
(optional).
Be careful not to misplace the 2 conical toothed washers (C).
Loosen the cover plate (D) by unscrewing the 2 M3 screws (U) and removing the 2 toothed washers (E).
Eliminate the 3 service wires (F) connected to the terminal board (G) (printed side L-
STEP 2
Make 2 holes to allow the insertion of 2 expansion anchors (not included), with the distance between centres shown in FIGURE 2.
We recommend using "Fischer" M5 metal expansion anchors with screws of at least Class 8.8 (H).
For correct application:
• Select expansion anchors of the appropriate length, considering the load to be supported
(max weight of appliance 1.3 kg + surface exposed to the wind 0.020 m²) and the type of substrate (concrete/solid-double UNI brick,
etc...).
STEP 3
Take the cable (I) that protrudes from the wall (we recommend H05RN-F, section 3 x 1 mm²<HAR>) and insert it into the rubber cable
gland (L), perforating the membrane.
Place the base (M) over the holes with the expansion anchors already fitted into the wall, and fit the two 2 seals (N) into the seats
provided.
Start to screw in the 2 screws (H) (we recommend size M5), remembering to fit the 2 flat washers supplied (O) between the 2 seals (N)
and the 2 screws (H).
Warning: check that the light sources are pointing in the direction required.
Fully tighten (2 Nm) the 2 screws (H).
Proceed to wire the terminal board (G) as shown in FIGURE 2/6.
In versions with halogen bulbs, 2 silicone sheaths+glass braid (P) are supplied.
Use the 2 sheaths (P) to cover the two 2 wires (Brown-Blue).
If necessary, shorten all the sheaths (P) to ensure that the 2 wires are covered effectively (FIGURE 6).

Check that the cable gland (L) provides a perfect seal, sliding the cable (I) back about one centimetre.
Fit the bulb (Z) with power ratings and of the type indicated on the appliance's rating plate.
In the fluorescent version, check that the total length of the bulb (Z) is not greater than 147 mm (FIGURE 2).
STEP 4 (only when dichroic filters are fitted)
Fasten the 2 elastic springs (Q) onto the bottom of the cover (B) using 2 M4 screws (R), making sure to place the 2 toothed washers (S)
under the head the screws.
Fit the filter (T) on the bottom of the cover (B) (FIGURE 4), bending the 2 elastic springs (Q).
Make sure that the filter (T) rests on the bottom of the cover (B) and that it is guided by the ribs (FIGURE 5).
STEP 5
Close the appliance by fixing the cover plate (D) using the 2 M3 screws (U) and making sure to place the 2 toothed washers (E) under the
head the screws.
Fasten the cover (B) to the base (M) by tightening completely (2 Nm) the 2 M4 countersunk screws (A) with the special tool (optional).
Make sure to insert the 2 conical toothed washers (C) under the head of the screws (FIGURE 3).
- Use only lamps with power and of the type stated in the appliance's nameplate data.
- Warning: Make sure power has been disconnected before connecting up the equipment to the mains, during
assembly, when replacing valves or before other operations on the equipment.
- The appliance only operates if supplied at the voltage stated on its nameplate.
- The appliance is suitable for direct installation on surfaces that are normally inflammable.
- Observe the minimum distance from illuminated objects.
- The appliance is classified as CLASS I : Connect to the earth circuit of the electric system
- The appliance is NOT suitable for cascade operation.
- The appliance is suitable for indoor and outdoor operation.
- Use only lamps with built-in UV protection (halogen).
-"The equipment must be used only if complete with protective screen(s)"
In the event of breakage, replace the appliance cover (B) (SCREENS ARE NOT REPLACEABLE)
- Attention: Please verify that the earth cable (X) is always accurately fixed on the terminal block (G) and the
cover (B). If necessary tighten the screw (W) on the bottom of the cover (B) (see picture 6) and the screw of
the terminal block (G).
