WARNING:
-Installation work must
only be carried out by
skilled, authorised staff.
- Keep these instructions in
a safe place even after
installation.
STEP 1
Open the appliance by unscrewing the 2 countersunk M4 screws (A) that attach the cover (B) to the base (C) using the special tool
(optional).
Loosen the cover plate (D) by unscrewing the n°2 M3 screws (E) and n°1 M4 (G) , removing the 3 toothed washers (F).
Eliminate the 3 service wires (F) connected to the terminal board (G) (printed side L-
STEP 2
Make 2 holes to allow the insertion of 2 expansion anchors (not included), with the distance between centres shown in FIGURE 2.
We recommend using "Fischer" M5 metal expansion anchors with screws of at least Class 8.8 .
For correct application:
• Select expansion anchors of the appropriate length, considering the load to be supported
(max weight of appliance 1.3 kg + surface exposed to the wind 0.020 m²) and the type of substrate (concrete/solid-double UNI brick,
etc...).
STEP 3
Take the cable (H) that protrudes from the wall (we recommend H05RN-F, section 3 x 1 mm²<HAR>) and insert it into the rubber cable
gland (I), perforating the membrane.
Place the base (C) over the holes with the expansion anchors already fitted into the wall, and fit the two 2 seals (J) into the seats
provided.
Start to screw in the 2 screws (L) (we recommend size M5), remembering to fit the 2 flat washers supplied (J) between the 2 seals (N)
and the 2 screws (L).
Warning: check that the light sources are pointing in the direction required.
Fully tighten (2 Nm) the 2 screws (L).
Proceed to wire the terminal board (M) as shown in FIGURE 3/3A.
Two silicone sheaths+glass braid (N) are supplied.
Use the 2 sheaths (N) to cover the two 2 wires (Brown-Blue).
If necessary, shorten all the sheaths (N) to ensure that the 2 wires are covered effectively
L
line conductor, brown
earth conductor, yellow/green colour.
N
neutral conductor, blue.
Check that the cable gland (I) provides a perfect seal, sliding the cable (H) back about one centimetre.
STEP 4 (only when dichroic filters are fitted)
Fasten the 2 elastic springs (O) onto the bottom of the cover (B) using 2 M4 screws (P), making sure to place the 2 toothed washers
(Q) under the head the screws.
Fit the filter (R) on the bottom of the cover (B) (FIGURE 5), bending the 2 elastic springs (O).
Make sure that the filter (R) rests on the bottom of the cover (B) and that it is guided by the ribs (FIGURE 5).
STEP 5
Close the appliance by fixing the cover plate (D) using the 2 M3 screws (E) + 1 M4(G) and making sure to place the 3 toothed washers
(F) under the head the screws.
Fasten the cover (B) to the base (C) by tightening completely (2 Nm) the 2 M4 countersunk screws (A) with the special tool (optional).
