Installation into Existing Recessed Incandescent Fixture
NOTICE: For use with 5 in. or 6 in. recessed housings (housing sold
separately). LED recessed trim will retrofit into select existing 5 in. or
6 in. nominal incandescent housings.

Turning Off the Power
□ Turn the power OFF at the switch and fusebox or
the circuit breaker.

Removing the Existing Trim
□ Remove the existing trim installed in the recessed
housing (if necessary).

Adjusting the Lampholder Bracket
□ If applicable, slide the lampholder bracket to its
upward maximum position. If the lampholder
bracket is less than 4.5 in. from the bottom edge
of the fixture enclosure, the lampholder bracket
must be removed. Remove the lampholder
mounting bracket by removing the wing nut and
the lampholder from the bracket, then attach the
provided label to the existing luminaire. (See Fig. 2)

Installing the Adapter
□ Install the adapter (AA) into the socket. (See Fig. 3)
