Instructions
1) Always store the Espresso mobile correctly and safely while driving. Before you use
the Espresso mobile, park your vehicle so that neither you nor other road users are at
risk. Do not use the appliance if it has any cracks or deep scratches. The appliance must
only be used at temperatures between 5°C and 40°C and at normal atmospheric pressure
(altitudes between 0 m and 3000 m).
WARNING
• The Espresso mobile can only be operated safely when the vehicle is at a standstill,
as loose items in the passenger compartment can fly forwards in the event of sudden
manoeuvres or accidents – risk of injury! Always stow the Espresso mobile safely in the
luggage compartment and secure it using the fastening rings.
• Ensure that children and persons that have not read the instructions for the Espresso
mobile do not have access to the appliance.
2) Ensure that the power cable is not damp. Unwind the power cable.
WARNING
• Do not immerse the plug for the 12-V socket (cigarette lighter) in water or any other
liquid.
3) Connect the power cable to a 12-V socket (cigarette lighter). You can now follow the
preparation process that appears on the display of the Espresso mobile.
CAUTION
• Connect the appliance directly to the 12-V socket (cigarette lighter). Do not use a
multiple socket plug.
4) Unscrew the filter holder.
WARNING
• Take care not to touch the capsule opener on the base of the capsule holder as it is
very sharp – risk of injury!
5) Fill the espresso cup with water up to the black line, pour it into the appliance and
keep an eye on the fill level indicator.
Flashing white light: not enough water
Green light: the correct amount of water
Red, rapidly flashing light: too much water --> If the fill level indicator flashes red, pour
the water out of the appliance and start again.
NOTE
• The water tank must only be filled with water, or with descaler when descaling the
appliance.
6) Insert a capsule into the capsule holder.
7) Close the filter holder up to the lock indicator. The lock indicators (white lines) must
be precisely aligned.
WARNING
• Never press the «Espresso» button if the filter holder is not closed properly. The lock
indicators must be aligned.

8) Press the «ON» button to start the Espresso mobile heating process.
WARNING
• The Espresso mobile heats water to almost 100 degrees Celsius. In order to avoid the
risk of burns and scalds, follow the operating instructions carefully.
9) The display indicates the progress. Wait until you hear three bleeps twice, after around
two and a half minutes. Warning: it is not because you can no longer hear the sound of
the motor, that the appliance is ready!
10) Place the espresso cup above the Espresso mobile and turn the appliance upside
down, while it is still plugged. Hold the Espresso mobile over the espresso cup and in
direct contact with it.
WARNING
• The Espresso mobile heats water to almost 100 degrees Celsius. In order to avoid the
risk of burns and scalds, follow the operating instructions carefully.
• Water in the Espresso mobile: Hold the Espresso mobile vertically and only turn it
over when the espresso cup is in close contact with the machine, otherwise water may
leak out. Risk of injury and damage to vehicle equipment!
11) Press the «Espresso» button. The motor in the appliance restarts to maintain the
pressure required to make the espresso. The red safety indicator appears. This indicates
that the appliance is pressurised. Do not open the filter holder on the appliance while the
red safety indicator is visible!
12) As soon as «STOP» appears on the display, press the «STOP» button until the red
safety indicator disappears.
13) Turn the appliance upright again. Open the filter holder carefully to remove the hot
used capsule. Dispose of the capsule in the waste container supplied. Pour the excess
water from the water tank and dry the drip tray with the cleaning cloth.
WARNING
• The capsule and any residual water will be hot – risk of injury!
• Do not remove the filter holder while the red safety indicator is visible. The appliance
may still be pressurised.
14) Enjoy your espresso. To make a second espresso, press the «ON» button to exit
standby mode, and start the process again from step 4.
CAUTION
• The appliance is not suitable for any professional use. You can prepare a maximum
of five espressos one after the other. Always wait one hour after making five espressos
before using the appliance again.
