8. PC CONNECTION
The dash camera can be connected to a PC using the supplied USB cable, at which point the screen will
display the USB symbol. Its function will then depend on the 'USB Function' option selected in the Menu
system
8.1 Storage Device (MSDC)
In this mode the unit will function as an SD Card reader. An extra drive will appear on the PC
e.g. Drive E: allowing navigation of the SD Card to view and manage stored files.
8.2 PC Camera (PCAM)
In this mode the unit will function as a web camera. Start a PC application which uses a web camera
e.g. Skype and select the camera called 'USB2.0 UVC HQ WebCam'
