Safety

The eTouch system is fully compliant with all current safety requirements. There is nonetheless
a residual risk if you do not comply with these operating instructions. Please understand that
Kesseböhmer GmbH cannot accept any liability or warranty for consequential damage resulting
from disregarding these instructions.
Important safety instructions
Please read these instructions carefully. Keep them in a safe
place. If the system is handed over to a third party,
please make sure these operating instructions are pas-
sed on too. You must comply with all safety notes and
warnings. Follow all instructions exactly.
Warning
Do NOT use the eTouch system near water or in damp
rooms. Clean the eTouch system ONLY with a dry or slightly mois-
tened cloth. Make sure that the eTouch system is not blocked or
covered by any objects, products (like cloths or food packages)
and that these do not leak into the housing.
The eTouch system must be connected to the mains only by
means of the power cable supplied with the system and in accor-
dance with the technical data on the rating plate. Make sure that
the power cable is not weighted down or bent and protect the
eTouch system from ingress of oil or aggressive cleaning agents.
ALL repairs must be carried out by trained customer-service tech-
nicians. A repair is necessary if the device is damaged in any way,
eg, through damage to the power cable or plug, if liquids are spilt
on it, if anything falls into it, if it is exposed to rain or moisture, if
it fails to work properly or if has been dropped.
This product must be used only with the power cable supplied.
A defective or damaged power cable must be replaced by an
original spare part.
