- do not force the tool; apply light and continuous

standstill
- after completing the cut switch off tool by releasing

APPLICATION ADVICE
Always remove battery from tool before making any
adjustment or changing any accessory, in order to
reduce the risk of starting the tool accidentally
Always face the good side of the workpiece down to
ensure minimum splintering
Only use sharp saw blades of the correct type #
- quality of cut improves by the number of teeth
- carbide tipped blades stay sharp up to 30 times longer
than ordinary blades
Rip fence V $
- for making exact cuts along a workpiece edge
- can be inserted in either side of foot
Adjusting rip fence
- loosen knob W
- adjust to desired cutting width by using rip fence scale
(use line-of-cut indicator P as 0-reference)
- tighten knob W
Plunge cutting %
- set desired cutting depth
- tilt tool forward with line-of-cut indicator lined up with
desired line of cut marked on the workpiece
- open lower guard B with lever C
- just before blade enters workpiece, switch on tool and
gradually lower back end of tool using front end of foot
as hinge-point
- gradually move tool downward as well as forward as
soon as kerfguide touches the workpiece
- when foot rests flat on workpiece, release lever C
! never pull tool backwards
Cutting large panels ^
- support panel close to the cut either on floor, table or
workbench
! set cutting depth so that you cut through panel
and not through support
- in case rip fence does not allow desired width of cut,
clamp or nail straight piece of wood to workpiece as a
guide, and use the right side of the foot against this
guide

GUARANTEE / ENVIRONMENT
Keep tool and charger clean (especially the ventilation
slots)
- the charger may be cleaned most effectively with
compressed air (wear safety goggles)
- clean charging contacts in charger with alcohol or
contact cleaner
! unplug charger from power source before
cleaning
Clean saw blade immediately after use (especially from
resin and glue)
Protect saw blades from shocks and impacts
Protect uncoated saw blades from corrosion with a thin
coat of acid-free oil (remove oil again before use to
prevent spotting of wood)

normal wear and tear, overload or improper handling will

Vérifier le voltage indiqué sur la plaque du chargeur/ de
l'outil/de la batterie
En cas d'anomalie électrique ou mécanique, couper
immédiatement l'outil ou débrancher le chargeur du
secteur
Contrôler avant le coupage s'il n'y a pas de clous, vis
etc. dans le matériel à couper et qui risqueraient
d'endommager très fortement l'outil; d'abord les enlever
puis couper
Lorsque vous rangez votre outil, le moteur doit être
coupé et les pièces mobiles complètement arrêtées
