Why isn't my robot charging?
• Verify that the base is connected to power and the power switch on the back of the base is in
the (I) ON position. When the base is plugged in and the power switch is turned on, the GREEN
power indicator light
on the base will illuminate. If the green light is not on, try connecting to a
different electrical outlet.
• If the BLUE charging indicator light on the base is not on, verify that the power switch on the
side of the robot is set to the (I) ON position. If the robot still is not charging, verify that the
power switch on the back of the base is set to the (I) ON position.
• The robot must be aligned correctly on the base, with its back side against the debris intake on
the base. The two metal pads on the bottom of the robot must be touching the metal charging
contacts on the base.
When charging begins, the robot will beep. The BLUE charging indicator light on the base will
PULSE, and the battery light on the robot will flash blue.
When charging is complete, the battery light on the robot and the blue charging indicator light
on the base will both illuminate steadily.
NOTE: Charge the battery completely before first use. A full charge may take up to 6 hours. When charging
is complete, the battery indicator light on the robot and the blue charging indicator light on the base will

How long will it take my robot to generate an interactive map?
It may take several cleans for the robot to finish building the interactive map in the app. Make
sure your robot is fully charged before sending it out to clean. It may take 4-6 hours to reach full
charge. If the robot has a problem when mapping, resolve the issue and restart the robot from
the same spot. Make sure to open interior doors in rooms to be cleaned and that the robot is
operating in well-lit areas. If the robot is running at night, make sure to turn on the lights in all
rooms to be cleaned.
NOTE: Avoid picking up or moving the robot or the base. If either are relocated, the robot may not be able to generate a

When a consumer buys a product in the Europe, they get the benefit of legal rights relating to the quality of the
product (your "statutory rights"). You can enforce these rights against your retailer. However, at Shark we are so
confident about the quality of our products that we give you an additional manufacturer's guarantee of two years.
These terms and conditions relate to our manufacturer's guarantee only - your statutory rights are unaffected.

How do I register my extended Shark® guarantee?
You can register your guarantee online within 28 days of purchase. To save time, you'll need the following information
about your machine:

Date you received the machine (from your in-store receipt or delivery note)

The manufacturer's guarantee covers your product for 2 years starting on the date of delivery.

How long are new Shark machines guaranteed for?
Our confidence in our design and quality control means that your new Shark vacuum cleaner is guaranteed for two
years.
What is covered by the free Shark guarantee?
Repair or replacement of your Shark machine (at Shark's discretion to decide whether to replace or repair) including all
parts and labour. A Shark guarantee is in addition to your legal rights as a consumer.
What is not covered by the free Shark guarantee?

Blockages - For details of how to unblock your vacuum cleaner, please refer to the Instructions.

Normal wear and tear of parts which require regular maintenance and/or replacement to ensure the proper
functioning of your unit.

Accidental damage, faults caused by negligent use or care, misuse, neglect, careless operation or handling of the
vacuum cleaner which is not in accordance with the Shark Instructions supplied with your machine.

Use of the vacuum cleaner for anything other than normal domestic household purposes.

Use of parts not assembled or installed in accordance with the operating instructions.

Use of parts and accessories which are not Shark spares.

Faulty installation (except where installed by Shark).

Please remember that using non-Shark spares may invalidate your manufacturer's guarantee. However, your statutory
rights are unaffected.
