curely in the engine compartment.
2. With the aid of a second person, secure the
0 986 612 950 against falling over in the en-
gine compartment.
3. Press the retaining clamp at the connection
point of the return lines in order to detach the
return lines from the injectors.
4. Seal off the return lines with plugs or clamps.
No fuel can emerge from the return lines.
5. Check whether the plug connectors of the
0 986 612 950 can be attached to the return of
the injectors.
With some injectors, the plug connectors of
the 0 986 612 950 cannot be attached to
the return. Adapter hose assemblies are
needed for connection.
6. Attach the plug connectors of the
0 986 612 950 directly to the return of the in-
jectors.
7. If direct connection is not possible, attach the
plug connectors of the 0 986 612 950 to the
adapter hose assemblies and attach the adapt-
er hose assemblies to the return of the injec-
tors.

8. Actuate the starter for between 10 s and 15 s.
9. Disconnect plug connectors (or adapter hose
