4. Instructions
4-1. Switch on/off
IR measure
1. Press Meas button and point it toward the surface to be measured. The display
will light if the battery is good. Replace the battery if the display does not light.
2. While measuring, the scan symbol will appear in the upper left hand corner of
the LCD
3. Release the Meas button and the HOLD display icon will appear on the LCD
indicating that the reading is being held.
4. The meter will automatically power down after approximately 7seconds after
the button is released.
Probe measure
1. Put down the Probe, the LCD will display the probe temperature.
2. While measuring, the probe measure icon will appear in the down of the LCD
3. Closing the probe will power off the measure.
4-2. Change temperature unit
Press the set button five times, the C/F symbol will flash, then press the "Light"
button or "Meas" button to change the temperature unit.

4-3. Set alarm
1. Press SET button one time to set high alarm value, Pressing "Meas" button to
up the value, Pressing "C/F" button to down the value.
2. Press SET button two times to set high alarm on/off, Pressing "Meas" button or
"C/F" button to switch on/off the high alarm.
3. Press SET button three times to set low alarm value, Pressing "Meas" button to
up the value, Pressing "C/F" button to down the value.
4. Press SET button four times to set low alarm on/off, Pressing "Meas" button or
"C/F" button to switch on/off the high alarm.
Note:
1. Instrument is IP65. Probe can be cleaned, but can not make steam and smog
into infrared induction region, or it will affect the accuracy.
2. Please do not take down the probe.
5. Maintenance
Please clean the housing with soft cloth, do not let any liquid in to infrared
induction region.
Please clean the probe before/after using the probe, or disinfect it with water or
cleaner.

6. Battery replacement

Open the battery cover, remove the battery, put in the new 2 x "AA" battery, and
then close the battery cover.
