ResMed's Mirage
Mask system is indicated for use with
nasal continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) and bi-
level systems used in the treatment of adult obstructive
sleep apnea (OSA) and/or ventilatory support.

ITTING THE
ASK

Attach the short length tubing to the forehead assembly.

Pull the assembled system over your head. Remember to
breathe through your mouth while fitting the mask.

The forehead pads should lightly touch your forehead
when the cushion is in place.

If you need to adjust the forehead pads, squeeze the edges
of the adjustable arms on the forehead assembly and slide
them into one of the three other slot positions.

Adjust the fit of the headgear by unfastening the Velcro*
straps. Do not pull the straps too tightly and make sure
the bottom straps pass below the ears.

Connect one end of the main air tubing to the end of the
swivel and the other end to your flow generator. Turn
the flow generator on.

Lie down and check that the mask is comfortable and
there are no air leaks. If there are air leaks, you may
need to readjust the arms attached to the forehead pads
(see Step 3) or the Velcro straps (see Step 4).
To remove the mask, simply pull the Mirage and headgear up
over your head.

LEANING IN THE
OME
After each use, detach the main air tubing, headgear, short
length tubing, forehead assembly, air vent, port plug, forehead
pads, and nasal cushion.
