Instructions for assembly and use alloy scaffold tower with
GB
undercarriage bar
The alloy scaffold towers shown in this document are made up of various indi-
vidual parts which can be purchased separately for adding to existing equipment
or for replacement purposes. A list of available scaffolds and their parts lists are
provided on pages 40 to 44.
Follow these instructions to ensure that you assemble, modify and dismantle the
equipment safely; otherwise the manufacturer / supplier cannot accept any guar-
antee or warranty. Pages 9 to 12 contain the relevant step-by-step instructions in
diagram form.
If you cannot carry out the assembly, modification or dismantling work, please
contact the supplier of the scaffold tower.
Alloy scaffold towers require very little servicing work; ensure that the rollers move
freely and that the brakes are effective, check the locking claws and ensure that
they secure correctly to the braces and platforms.
Use only undamaged components which are in perfect working order. Use an ad-
ditional platform every 2 m for assembly and dismantling work.
Alloy scaffold towers comply with EN 1004. Under this standard, their use is
limited to a maximum platform height of 12.00 in rooms enclosed on all sides and
outdoors to a maximum platform height of 8.00 m. Please comply with the relevant
regulations in your country.
Scaffold towers with undercarriage bars are classed in scaffold group III, their
maximum load capacity is 2.0 kN/m²
