8 Remote Service Function

The Tel-O-Graph ® GSM has a service function that enables the firmware and PWA functionality to be updated via
the mobile communications network.
Firmware updates are provided by the manufacturer for service purposes in order to always ensure the error-free
operation of your device. If a firmware update is available for your device, it will be loaded and activated following
a measurement transmission. This process runs automatically and can take up a few minutes depending on the
quality of the mobile connection.
Note
Wait until the start screen (Fig. 6) is displayed before you start the next measurement.
ATTENTION
Interruptions to the update process
Do not press the button during the update process and do not remove the batteries. Interrupting the update
routine while the firmware is being updated can render the device unusable.
If a license update is available for your device, it will be loaded and activated following a measurement
transmission. This process runs automatically and can take up to one minute depending on the quality of the mobile
connection.
Your device is then adjusted accordingly and ready to use.
