VALVE OPERATION
The V250 valve is operated by properly pressurizing the valves chamber from on side
or the other of the pistons. This is done by the pressure distributor pilot that are
actuated by a rotating camshaft (fig 1). Different camshaft models exist depending on
chosen controller, on the application and on the system type (simplex, duplex etc).

The following fluids can be used for activation of the valve:

Compressed air, filtered but not dry, with a pressure between 2 and 6 bars;
S
•
Water, filtered, with a compression pressure between 1.5 and 6 bars.

When using water as a fluid, it is recommended to draw from a different distribution
line than the one for the water being treated, in order to ensure a constant feeding
pressure.
