Preparations
Position the bottom unit
In order to position the bottom unit for the
Combi-Duo setup, mount the unit onto a
stand with feet, castors or a levelling kit.
Note that the wall clearance of the Combi-
Duo unit is at least 50 mm [1.97 inches].
Note the description in the unit's installa-
tion manual for positioning the unit on the
stand.
Align the bottom unit
Align the stand: Position the unit and

check the alignment with a spirit level
in the cooking cabinet. If necessary,
align the castors or feet evenly so that
the unit is standing securely.
Align the levelling kit: Align the level-
n
ling kit and check the alignment with a
spirit level before positioning the
lower unit on the levelling kit.

Installation

Setting up the Combi-Duo and the top
unit

The bottom unit is placed on a stand
with feet or castors or an auto levelling
kit.

The top side of the bottom unit is
clean and free of grease.
1. Loosen 5 screws from the lid of the
bottom unit.
2. Press the 2 sheet lugs on the exhaust
cover on the top side of the bottom
unit to release them from the slots and
pull the cover away [

3. Place the Combi-Duo base frame on
top of the bottom unit. Align the frame
so that the closed, right-hand side
panel of the frame is flush with the
right unit wall [
4. Attach the Combi-Duo base frame
with 5 screws [
5. Place the large sound insulation mats
to the right and the small insulation
mats to the left in the 2 recesses of the
Combi-Duo base frame [
6. To secure the sound insulation mats,
press the insulation mats on the
corners below the frame

7. Remove the rubber seal around the
unit feet edges of the top unit.
8. Place the top unit on the Combi-Duo
base frame using carrying straps

9. Position the base of the top unit on the
trim of the Combi-Duo base frame.
Make sure that the side panels of the
base frame are not damaged.
10. Slide the top unit backwards from the
front left to the rear right into the free
corner of the frame. Make sure that the
rest angle of the top unit locks into the
slot of the frame, each on the rear right
in the corner and from left in the
corner [

11. Put the front panel in place slightly di-
agonally on the front left. The top edge
of the front panel can be slid into the
housing frame of the top unit from be-
low.
12. Push the front panel to the right to-
wards the side panel [
Make sure that the pin and the edge
which protrude from the right side
panel fit into the opening and the slot
