Overheating:
If you exceed the maximum time indicated for continuous operation, the motor may overheat. In
this case, the cutting mechanism comes to a standstill and the overheating indicator flashes
red. The device switches to standby mode and you can continue as soon as the overheating
indicator stops flashing. It is even better in this case to switch off the device at the main switch
("O") and wait at least an hour.
Removing pieces of paper:
Switch off the device and remove the plug. Remove the collection basket. Remove any snippets
of paper stuck in the cutting mechanism. The blades are very sharp, so be very careful! Replace
the collection basket, re-insert the plug and switch the device back on. You can then continue to
work with the device.
Switching off:
To switch off the device, move the main switch on the back of the device to the "O" position.
