terminals.
7. Connect the positive (+) red clamp to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery.

of the vehicle or to a part of the chassis. Never connect the clamp directly to the
battery's negative terminal or to a moving part.
9. Warning! If the connections to the battery's positive and negative terminals are incorrect,
the LCD screen will display the Battery Status Icon, Battery Voltage Indicator, and the
Clamp Icons. The Alarm Icon, the "+" and "–" signs and the Reverse Polarity Icons will
flash and an audible alarm will be emitted until the clamps are properly connected.
10. Once the clamps are properly connected, set the portable jump starter's ON/OFF switch
to the ON position.
11. Switch on the car's ignition and start the engine with impulses lasting 3 to 6 seconds.
IMPORTANT : If the engine doesn't start up within 6 seconds, let the device's internal
battery cool down for 3 minutes before trying again.
12. When the vehicle starts up, set the booster's ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
13. Disconnect the negative (–) clamp from the engine or the chassis first, followed by the
positive (+) clamp.
If the engine does not start after several tries, it is recommended to contact a professional
mechanic; causes may be varied and independent from the state of the battery.
