2 Safety
Across this manual, some risk of danger situations are remarked. Proceed as de-
scribed to avoid any hazard.

instructions.

results or for an optimal operation of the equipment or to extend the life of the
equipment or to avoid the degradation of some of its components.

Using a pH-meter, the operator, could be exposed to chemical hazard.

This equipment must only operated by personnel trained a suitable qualifi ed
to work in a chemical laboratory and its common hazards and who have read and
understood this manual or have been qualifi ed on its manipulation and operation.

This equipment is not designed and not manufactured to work in an explosive
ambient area.
3 Overview
The pH-2006 is a table-top pH-meter with a 320x240 graphic and operated by a
touch screen. Suitable for indoor measures on the laboratory.
The pH-2006 also measures temperature for ATC. If no temperature probe is con-
nected, sample temperature can be entered by using the keypad and also ATC is
applied on the measure. (ATC: Automatic temperature compensation)
The reading in can be used to take measures with Ion selective and Redox probes.
Combined or reference electrodes can be used.
