13 Service and Maintenance

The cation resin column changes color from PURPLE to BROWN as it is depleted
from top to bottom. Replace the resin when the purple color is within 1 inch (2.5
cm) of the bottom of the column.
It is recommended that UniCond
plete calibration covers the electronics as well as cell constant and temperature. The
electronics of the sensor can be calibrated using a UniCond calibrator. For calibration
service, contact your local METTLER TOLEDO Thornton representative for assistance.

14 Disposal

When the system is finally removed from service, observe all local environmental
regulations during disposal.
