ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS -EB
NOTE: The emergency driver must be fed from
the same branch as the AC Driver.
STEP 1:
Make the following electrical connections:
a. Connect the black luminaire lead to the switched line or Hot 1.
b. Connect the black/orange luminaire lead
to the unswitched supply or Hot 1.
c. Connect white luminaire lead to the neutral or Hot 2.
d. Connect ground bare or green/yellow wire
lead to the supply ground lead.
e. If 0 -10V Dimming is used, connect the violet lead to
the supply positive dimming lead. If dimming is not
being used ensure to cap off the violet lead.
f. If 0 -10V Dimming is used, connect the grey or pink lead
to the supply negative dimming lead. If dimming is not
being used ensure to cap off the grey or pink lead.
g. Secure incoming dimming leads to the existing strain
relief, to prevent contact with primary wiring.
STEP 2:
Locate the two black/white leads in the junction box and connect them.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS- GTD
STEP 1:
a. Connect the black luminaire lead to the
unswitched normal panel line or Hot 1.
b. Connect the blue luminaire lead to the
switched normal panel line or Hot 1.
c. Connect the white luminaire lead to the
switched normal panel neutral or Hot 2.
d. Connect green or green/yellow ground lead to ground.
e. If 0 -10V Dimming is used, connect the violet lead
to the supply positive dimming lead. If dimming is
not being used ensure to cap off the violet lead.
f. If 0 -10V Dimming is used, connect the gray lead
to the supply negative dimming lead. If dimming is
not being used ensure to cap off the gray lead.
g. Secure incoming dimming leads to the existing strain
relief, to prevent contact with primary wiring.
STEP 2:
a. Connect the red luminaire lead to the
Emergency panel line or Hot 1.
b. Connect the white/red luminaire lead to the
Emergency panel neutral or Hot 2.
