Installation of the abrasive sheet (V)
If a grinding tool is to be the insertion tool, then before you proceed to operate the machine, it is required to install an abrasive
sheet. The attachment is equipped with a Velcro fastener to which the abrasive sheet must be fastened in such a manner that
the edges of the sheet are aligned with the edges of the attachment. In case of attachments with holes used to extract dust, it
is required to use abrasive sheets with holes. While attaching the sheet to the attachment, make sure the holes in the sheet are
aligned with the holes of the attachment.
Dust extraction
The tool is not equipped with an integral dust extraction system. In case external dust extraction systems are used, observe the
recommendations they are provided with.
Adjustments of the speed of oscillations (VI)
The tool is equipped with a rotational regulator of the speed of oscillations, which permits smooth adjustments within the range
indicated in the table. In order to adjust the speed of oscillation, move the handwheel to the desired position.
PREPARATION FOR WORK
Remove the plug of the power supply cable from the socket.
Before any work with the tool, it is required to make sure the housing and the connection cord with plug are not damaged. In case
any damage is detected, it is prohibited to connect the tool to the mains!
Insert the insertion tool designed for the given kind of work.
Wear eye and hearing protectors and working gloves.
Make sure the switch is „OFF", and then insert the plug of the power supply cable to the mains socket.
Adopt an adequate position, which guarantees stability during work and turn the tool on using the switch.

USING THE TOOL

Commence work applying the insertion tool to the material to be processed. During work do not exert excessive pressure against
the material being processed and do not make sudden movements, so as to avoid any damage to the insertion tool or the abrasive
sheet.
Due to the level of vibration noise and dust generated by the tool, it is necessary to make regular breaks during work. Avoid
overloading the tool, the temperature of the external surfaces at any time must not exceed 60°C.
Always use individual protection means: working gloves, safety goggles and hearing protection.
Remove accumulated dust from the abrasive sheet from time to time. In order to do so turn the tool off and slightly tap the foot of
the grinder. Do not process different materials using the same abrasive sheet!
Once the work has concluded turn the tool off, remove the plug of the power supply cable from the mains socket and realise
maintenance and inspection of the tool.
The declared total value of vibration has been measured through a standard measurement method and may be used to compare
different tools. The declared total value of vibration may be used for the purpose of preliminary evaluation of exposure.
Attention! The actual vibration while operating the tool may vary from the declared value, depending on the use of the tool.
Attention! It is required to specify the safety measures to protect the operator, which are based upon the evaluation of exposure
under actual conditions of work (including all the stages of the working cycle, e.g. the periods when the tool is off or is idling and
the periods of active operation).
MAINTENANCE AND OVERHAUL
ATTENTION! Before any adjustment, technical service or maintenance operations unplug the tool. Once the operations have been
finished, the technical conditions of the tool must be assessed by means of external evaluation and inspection of the following
elements: body and handle, conductor with a plug and deflection, functioning of the electric switch, patency of ventilation slots,
sparking of brushes, noise level of functioning of bearings and gears, start-up and smoothness of operation. During the guarantee
period, the user cannot dismantle the electric tools or change any sub-assemblies or elements, since it will cancel any guarantee
rights. All irregularities detected at overhaul or during functioning of the tools are a signal to have the tool repaired at a service
shop. Once the functioning has been concluded, the casing, ventilation slots, switches, additional handle and protections must be
cleansed with a stream of air (at a pressure not exceeding 0.3 MPa), with a brush or a cloth without any chemical substances or
cleaning liquids. Tools and handles must be cleansed with a clean cloth.
