This product has a stainless steel tray, designed to be recessed into a floor.
Installation of the tray should be performed by a competent professional builder.
The scale is a precision weighing instrument.To prevent the risk of damage to the scale, store it away
in a safe and clean environment, until all building work is complete. Under no circumstances must the
scale be dropped or overloaded as that could damage the electronic weight sensing system.
For England and Wales, LANTAC (local Authority National Type Approval Confederation) has awarded
this system installation, National Type Approval (SA-144-12-7010):The design and method of construction,
for the installation of this inset electronic bathroom scale, has been examined, and has been shown to
be capable of complying with current building regulations. For other countries, the installer must
ensure that the installation complies with the building regulations in force for that country.
• Electronic scales
• Stainless steel tray
• Stainless steel screws x 8
• Scale is watertight - when in tray, but do not remove and immerse
• If the scale is to be used without the tray, then position on a hard flat floor - not a carpeted floor
• Remove any water that may collect in the tray

BATTERIES - 2 X CR2032
Remove battery cover using a coin, remove battery and then pull out isolating tab.
Replace batteries and battery cover.

OPERATING KEY
LOCK UNLOCK
Operating key can be slid in to lock it, and pulled out to
release. Pull out and press to remove scale from tray.
WEIGHT MODE
To change weight mode:
1. The scale must be off
2. Use a finger to press and hold down the operating key -
display will show '--'
3. Continue to hold down for a further 4 seconds
4. Display will show the current operating weight mode
by st-lb, lb, kg in small characters along the top of
the display
5. Continue to hold key down and the display will
begin to cycle through the weight modes at 4 second
intervals (eg. kg to st-lb to lb and back to kg)
6. Release the operating key when the desired weight
mode is displayed
7. The current weight mode setting will be stored for
next time
OPERATION
Operation procedure is as follows:
1. Using a finger press and release the
operating key - display will show '--'
2. Wait 3 seconds
3. Display will show '0.0' - scale is ready
for use
4. Step on to the platform, ensuring feet
are within the outer perimeter of the
platform, and without your feet touching
the tray
5. Stand very still - the display will show '----'
scrolling up the display
6. Wait 5 seconds
7. Your weight is displayed
8. Scale will auto-off after approximately
7 seconds
