6.3 Logger menus
If measurements are stored in the instrument, it is possible to download them into the ATEX
3660 software for display, storage, and print out. The Logger menu allows to download or/and clear
the instrument's stored data.
To download the stored results from the instrument to the PC, choose the DownLoad Data
command. The software displays a message "Downloading in Progress..." while the data is being
transferred to the PC. The download window displays the stored measurements as five columns of
data:
• Sample (reference number of the sample)
• Gas (measured gas concentration)
• Date (date of the measurement)
• Time (time of the measurement)
• Line status (the event that triggered this record, applicable only when Automatic Storage is set to
Event mode)
6.4 Data export
The Export function copies data into the Windows Clipboard, to paste it into other software. This is
useful when working with spreadsheets, or with a word processing software.
6.5 Real-time monitoring
The Monitoring command displays a running chart of real-time measurements, similar to a chart
recorder. A running display of latest gas, temperature, and pressure is also shown in the bottom-right
corner of the chart. The chart shows the gas concentration (in blue), temperature (in red), and
pressure (in green) as the sample is being measured by the instrument.
Use the buttons at the bottom of the chart to control the real-time monitoring:
• Choose Go to clear the chart and start the real-time monitoring display
• Choose Stop to stop the real-time monitoring
• Choose Copy to copy the data on the chart as a text file to the clipboard
• Choose Close to exit the real time monitoring window
Click on the Continuous box, in the lower right corner, to enable or disable continuous charting.
When box is checked, the chart scrolls continuously after reaching the 10th division, and the
measurement points exiting on left side of the chart are lost. When box is not checked, the chart
stops when reaching the 10th division, and all subsequent measurements are not saved.
The chart is updated at the rate set in the TIMEBASE box, located at the lower right corner of the
window. Click the TIMEBASE up/down pointers to set the time scale. Each division mark, along the
baseline from 1 to 10, can represent from 30 seconds to 2½ hours. This provides from 5 minutes to
25 hours of continuously displayed measurements.
Note: This chart "updating rate" is independent from the rate set via Sampling Rate command.
6.6 Configuring the instrument
The Configuration menu is used to set up the instrument.
6.6.1 Configuration view
Choose Configuration, Configuration View to verify if the analyzer has been set up as expected.
Should any unexpected items be listed on this display window, contact your Hach Lange
representative.
6.6.2 Last calibration view
Use the Configuration, Last Calibration View to display the date and time of the last calibration, as
well as the sensor current measured then. The system updates these values after each successful
calibration.
