1. GENERAL
• Please read the instructions before putting the product into operation, keep them for future
reference, and hand them over to the new owner if the product changes hands.
• The ground spike is splash-proof (IP44) and suitable for use outdoors.
2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Do not operate or use any damaged product.
• Check the product regularly for damage. Do not continue to use the product in case of
defects.
• Only connect the product to a grounded earthed socket.
• Do not carry out any repairs to the product.
• Do not use this product in troughs or depressions as this may cause waterlogging and the
risk of flooding.
• Make sure that the product has a safe stand when operated.
• Do not operate the product in water.
• The product is splash-proof (IP44) and can be used outdoors.
• The splash guard is only guaranteed if connectors of the same degree of protection (IP44)
are connected and completely plugged in.
• Do not operate the product when it is covered.
• Do not operate the product when it is covered.
• The device is voltage-free only when the mains plug has been pulled out.
• Only connect devices that are suitable for unattended operation.
• Observe the maximum output of the product (see technical data and rating plate).
3. MOUNTING
1. Screw the foot (spike or mounting plate) clockwise to the sleeve.
2. Then screw the sleeve clockwise into the socket body.

3.1 Installation with ground spike (picture A)
Insert the spike of the product into a solid surface, maximally up to plate and ensure
adequate stability. Also pay attention to a vertical position when inserting and operating
the product.
3.2 Mounting with mounting plate(picture B)
Mount the mounting plate with four screws (Ø 5mm) and corresponding dowels on
firm ground (e.g. base plate). Ensure adequate stability. Also pay attention to a vertical
position when operating the product.
4. Insert the plug of the product into a grounded earthed socket of the same degree of
protection (IP44).
5. The product is now ready for use.
