For K-6860, mark hole locations.
Place legs on the hole locations.
Place lavatory on legs and check for level and fit of both
lavatory and legs. If required, reposition hole locations as
necessary. Make sure lavatory is centered in its location.
Remove lavatory and drill holes using 1/4" drill bit.
NOTE: Do not drill holes for lavatory at this time.
Place legs in mounting holes. Make sure the adjustable
feet are turned all the way in.
Carefully place the lavatory on the legs.
Check the level of the legs and lavatory.
Mark locations of the two mounting holes for the lavatory.
NOTE: The lavatory must be supported by the legs. The
legs are adjustable for final leveling.
Remove the lavatory.
Drill holes for 5/16" hanger bolts for securing lavatory to
backing. Other fastening devices of sufficient size and
strength may also be used.
Mount the hanger bolts to the wall leaving approximately
1-1/4" (3.2cm) of bolt exposed.
Before installing the lavatory, attach the faucet and drain
fittings.
RECOMMENDATION: Attach valve bodies before spout.
Make sure that the 1-1/4" tailpiece is installed to the drain
body. Attach U portion of P-trap to tailpiece. Refer to
faucet and drain manufacturer's instructions.
NOTE: Do not fully tighten the slip joint connection.
Place the lavatory back into the mounting position and
level. The feet on the bottom of the legs can be adjusted
for leveling the lavatory or reducing any looseness.
Install cap nuts and washers and secure the lavatory to
the wall. Carefully turn nuts until contact is made with the
vitreous china.
CAUTION: Do not overtighten as breakage may
result.
Connect and tighten trap.
Connect hot and cold supplies to faucet.
