Setting the Torque
The tightening torque is dependent on the spring pre-
tension of the switch-off coupling. The switch-off
coupling responds in right as well as left rotation
when the torque setting is reached.

Push the slide 7 on the power tool completely back.
Insert the Allen key 28 into the tool holder 1 and turn
slowly until a small indentation (adjustment disc 29
for the setting of the torque) is visible in the power tool
opening on the coupling. Insert the adjustment tool
27 into this indentation and turn it.

Turning in the clockwise direction results in a higher
torque, in the counterclockwise direction, a lower
torque.

Note: The required adjustment is dependent on the
type of threaded connection and can be best deter-
mined by practical trials. Check the trial screwings
with a torque wrench.
Marking the Torque Setting
Type 0 602 491 431/... 433/... 435/... 437/... 439/
To identify individually adjusted tightening torques,
the marking ring 19 can be replaced with a marking
ring of another color. Press off the marking ring 19
with a thin screwdriver blade, a knife, or similar.
Always use the power tool with a marking ring since
7
otherwise the housing is no longer closed.

Set the torque only in the specified per-
formance range, otherwise the shut-off
coupling will no longer respond.
