1. Click on the axis.
2. click "Delete Joystick Assignment".

Aileron Axis
Brake (left axis)
Brake (right axis)
Elevator Axis
Elevator Trim Axis
Engine 1 Throttle
Engine 2 Throttle
Flaps axis
Rudder axis
Delete any other axes assigned to each controller.
When finished with the axis assignments, click the "Calibration" tab. G940 is a precision controller. We
recommend setting the sensitivity higher, and reducing the null zone for each assigned axis.
Click the "Forces" tab. Verify that "Enable Force Feedback" is checked.
When finished, Click "OK" to finish set up.
A Logitech Gaming Software profile is included for Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Many controls are
assigned there, and can be modified to your needs.
IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 Setup Guide
These instructions work with all the IL-2 Sturmovik simulations, including Forgotten Battles, Aces
Expansion Pack, 1946, and Gold
Start IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946
Click "Hardware Setup"
Click "Input"
Click "Force Feedback" switch to enable forces (red indicator will appear lit on screen.)
Click "Hotas Control". A list of assignable axes and commands will appear.
Click in the column adjacent to the axis you want to assign. A shaded box will appear. Move the desired
G940 control until it is detected and it is automatically assigned.
Note: the direction the control is moved will affect how it is detected. If you move the stick to the right, it
will detect "X axis". Moving it left during detection will reverse the assignment as "-X axis" and it will be
reversed in the simulation. We recommend moving controls forward, or right during detection. If this
turns out reversed in the simulation, go back and reassign, moving the control the other way.

Pedals: toe brake 1
Pedals: toe brake 2
Joystick: Y axis
Joystick: Trim 1
Throttle: throttle 1
Throttle: Throttle 2
