CERTIFICATE OF GUARANTEE

The Silampos StarTwist pressure cooker comes with a 5-year guarantee and a
specific 25-year guarantee for its Impact Disc Plus thermal bottom against
manufacturing defects. The consumer should inform the seller of any lack of
conformity within a period of 2 months of the date on which the non-conformity
was detected in order to be eligible for the guarantee. The guarantee period
starts on the date on which the product is delivered and does not cover the parts
subject to periodic replacement, as specified in the instructions attached hereto,
or any damage caused by negligent use, improper use, or an accident. The
guarantee will only be taken into account on submission of the respective
receipt of purchase. In case the product fails to comply with the agreement, the
consumer has the right to have it replaced free of cost. The guarantee will be
regarded as invalid when unauthorised entities have repaired, modified or
replaced any part of the pressure cooker. The aforementioned expression "free
of cost" refers to the expenses incurred to establishing the compliance of the
product with the agreement, including, specifically, expenditure on transport,
labour and materials. Such expenses and the risks related to the delivery of the
pressure cooker to the Silampos Post-Sales Assistance and the subsequent
return of the unit to the client will only be the liability of Silampos when the
provisions of the guarantee have been complied with. Any costs in relation to the
maintenance or repair of the product beyond the scope of the guarantee will be
borne by the consumer. The guarantee is free of charge and is granted automati-
cally when purchasing the StarTwist pressure cooker. The rights and duties of
both parties are set forth in and regulated by Decree-Law nº 67/2003, amended
by Decree-Law nº 84/2008, to which it refers.
