Sawing wood
Place the saw at right angles to the workpiece.
Guide the saw through the wood applying
uniform pressure and simultaneously press
the saw support against the workpiece.
Sawing directly on the wall
On account of the elasticity of the bimetallic
saw blades, it is possible to sever pipes flush
with wall. To do this, use an adequately
long saw blade which exceeds the diameter
of the pipe. Place the saw blade flush with
the wall so that the kink point is outside
the workpiece to be sawn.
Plunge cuts
The saw is suitable for making plunge cuts in
wood and plastic. When making plunge cuts,
use short saw blades (150 mm) only!
 Switch on the pendulum stroke to make
plunge cuts.
 Set the stroke number controller to the
highest possible stroke number.
 Place the saw on the workpiece with the
lower edge of the saw support so that the
saw blade does not touch the workpiece.
 Switch on the saw.
 Press the saw support firmly against the
workpiece and swivel the saw forwards.
Slowly plunge the saw blade into the
workpiece.
 When the saw support is positioned fully
on the workpiece, continue sawing along
the required cutting line.

Using the pipe clamp (SR 602 VV)
For pipes up to 50 mm use the pipe clamp
included in the product package.
 Insert the pipe clamp with the bolt into
the bore on the saw until the clamp
engages (1.).
 Insert the pipe into the pipe clamp.
To do this, unscrew the locking screw
according to the thickness of the pipe.
Then screw in the locking screw all the
way (2.).
Using the chain tensioner
(SR 602 VV)
For metal pipes up to 150 mm and plastic
pipes up to 200 mm use the chain tensioner
available as an accessory.
Insert the chain tensioner with the bolt into
the bore on the saw until the chain tensioner
engages.
