horizontal rotating table with nothing shielding geometric fi elds or generating magnetism in the
surroundings.
3. Once the latitude / longitude data is displayed on the external LCD (14), press the [POWER]
button and the [MODE] button simultaneously for approximately 1 second.
4. "CAL" will blink on the external LCD (14) and on the internal LCD (15).
5. Rotate the body twice horizontally while the "CAL" Indication is blinking and then press the
[SAVE] button for approximately 1 second.
6. The calibration is done once the "CAL" Indication changes into the azimuth value on the internal
LCD (15).
CHANGING MODES
Press the [MODE] button (13) and the mode will change to the "Latitude / Longitude Mode" or
"Date / Time Mode".
DISPLAY OF LATITUDE / LONGITUDE
1. Press the [POWER] button (12) to turn on. The binoculars will be activated in the "Latitude /
Longitude Display Mode."
2. GPS SIGNAL position will start.
In the factory default settings or in battery replacement conditions, the binoculars will start deter-
mining it's position with a blinking alphabet indicating latitude/longitude on the external liquid crys-
tal screen. The blinking means that positioning is under way. After the alphabet blinks, a numerical
value of "latitude /longitude" will be indicated on the external liquid crystal screen and the fi gures
will start moving. From next time onward, the latitude/longitude in the previous position will be
indicated. The latitude/longitude fi gure will start moving when the GPS signal is detected.
