LCD backlight

Use the Value dial to turn the backlight on/off.
If you are using batteries, the battery life will be
shorter if the backlight is on.
Specifying the battery type
To display the remaining battery power correctly, you
must specify the type of battery that you use. Select
"AL" for an alkaline battery, and "nH" for an NiMH
battery.
