SPOOL WIRE INSTALLATION
Caution! Make sure the main switch is in the off position, the trigger is locked and the battery has been removed
from of the tool. Use exclusively SIMA S.A. spool wires.
I. Press the release lever (Fig. 4, P) and make sure that the clamping lever of the reel is automatically opened (Fig.
4, A).
II. Remove the red tape from the reel, and insert the spool with white spots (Fig. 5) toward the interior of the main
body in the reel holder and replace the spool wire.
III. Press the lever of the reel (Fig. 6) to release the trawl gear wire (Fig. 7).
IV. Insert the end of the wire directly into the guidewire (Fig. 7), make sure it passes between the trawl gear. It
straightening the tip of the wire to allow passage through the guide. The wire should not bend or curve.
V. Continue inserting the wire through the tube until the tip exceeds about 10mm (Fig. 8) the upper arm. Replace the
spool, release the lever and unlock the reel holder leaving them both in their original positions.
VI. Remove the protective cap and insert the battery into the housing as there are for this purpose in the handle of the
main body (Fig. 10).
VII. Turn off the trigger lock and turn the main switch on (Fig. 11). The machine performs a self check. Remove the
wire left in the workspace (Fig. 12).
VIII. Place the upper arm at an angle of 45 ° with the rod (Fig. 13), press the trigger to start the tie up process (Fig.
14). If the wire gets embroil, cut it with pliers you will find in the equipment (Fig. 15).
Caution! Before placing and removing the battery, turn off the main switch and lock the trigger. Do not touch any
part of your body moving parts of the tool.
Caution! Do not turn off and on the tool repeatedly and quickly.
Caution! Turn off the main switch and lock the trigger when not using the tool.
4. MAINTENANCE, INSPECTION AND CONTROL
Warning! To avoid personal injury and / or materials before using the tool, read the instructions carefully and
make sure you understand and see if any enforcement of safety standards.
We recommend the use of safety glasses, safety boots etc ... Always use approved material.
The workplace must be in perfect order, with no risks involved and well lit.
Prohibit access by persons outside the working area of the machine.
Do not allow children near the workplace and not under any circumstances allow these using the tool.
When you change the reel or the battery, make sure the switch is in the off position, because otherwise it could cause
accidents.
Do not use the tool in the rain or in a damp place.
Do not handle the machine. If the tool needs to be repair, take the machine to the nearest SIMA service.
Keep fingers and other body parts away from the work area (Fig. 3, 12). Improper use of the machine could cause
personal damage and / or material damage.
Do not touch the cable reel or with your fingers or any body part while the tool is in progress. The reel moves when
the tool works, if the fingers or other body part is placed in contact, could cause accidents.
Do not point at people with the tool.
Turn the main switch in the off position if you remove the battery or when unexpected circumstances occur while using
the tool, if this happens, turn off the machine, lock the trigger and remove the battery, after those steps, examine the
tool.
Always keep your balance, do not extend your arms too much to avoid falls.
Always be sure to remove the battery and turn off the machine before making any adjustments, changing any
accessory or storaing the tool.
Do not use this tool in poor environmental conditions.
Materials such as flammable liquids, gases or dusts could cause a fire because the tool can generate sparks, never use
the tier tool in locations with explosive o flammable materials.
