Safety information on the product
Warning - Invisible laser radiation!
(laser class 1M, IEC 60825-1:2007)
Failure to observe the following measures and
information may result in irreversible damage
to the eyes (blindness).
Operation:
¶
The laser radiation involved is not a danger
to the eyes provided that no optical inst-
ruments (for example magnifying glasses,
lenses or telescopes) are held in the beams
in front of the protective cover.
¶
Even without any optical instruments, it is
not advisable to look directly at the protecti-
ve cover for a lengthy period.
¶
In the event of damage to the laser housing
(top of housing with protective cover or bot-
tom part of housing), the wheel alignment
system must be switched off and discon-
nected from the power supply.
¶
Further use is not permissible until repairs
have been performed.
¶
The laser housing is never to be opened by
the user.
¶
Repairs are only to be performed by of-
ficially trained and qualified service engi-
neers.
Repair:
¶
Before performing repair work (opening la-
ser housing or dismantling laser projector),
the service engineer must ensure that the
wheel alignment system has been switched
off, disconnected from the mains voltage
system and secured against re-activation
during the repair work.
